To wrap up Part 1 of The Intuitive Workweek, we’re going to spend a little time recapping what you’ve discovered in Part 1 and mapping out an action plan to take everything you’ve learned in this section and turn it into a reality in your business and life.

We’re going to structure this action plan in the form of some journal exercises, and then turn the answers you discover into your plan of action moving forward.

First, to recap, finish the following sentences:

In this season of my business, I want to make happen…

How I want my work and business to fit into my life in this season is...

How I want to feel in my business in this season of my life is…

The workweek commandments I want to guide me each workday are…

How my ideal workday looks and feels like is…

The essentials I need for a happy, healthy, and productive workday are…

How my ideal workweek looks is…

A day recently when I didn’t feel good in my business looked like…

What’s getting in the way of making my ideal workweek a reality is…

What needs to change so I can make it happen is…

Some habits that I’d like to change are…

Some boundaries in my work and my life I’d like to honour are…

Now, to build a plan of action, finish the following sentences:

The priorities in my business right now are…

These are the practical ways I can start to make a positive change in my workweek in my business…

These are the tough decisions I need to explore and make so I can move forward in the best way for me…

These are the essentials I’m going to make space for every single week so I can be happy, healthy, and productive, and this is exactly how I’m going to do that…

The big changes I need to make over the next 6-12 months to make my ideal workweek a reality are…

The steps I’m going to take to make these big changes are…

How I can still make space for a more fulfilling and joyful routine in this season of my life is by…

The boundaries I’m going to honour in my business, and how I’m practically going to do that, are…

New habits I’m going to explore and experiment with, and how I’m practically going to make space for them, are…

Hopefully what you’re able to start to create here is a clearer picture of how you’re actually going to move forward, while still existing in the reality and responsibilities of your here and now. Because the truth is, most of the time we can’t make the big changes we want to make overnight. It takes many steps over weeks and months to pivot from where you are now to where you really want to be with your business. The secret is to be in it for the long haul, to know where you need to go and what you need to do to get there, to be brave enough to make the bold and sometimes scary decisions you need to make to make it happen, and to find small and simple ways to improve your day-to-day routine in your business even when it’s not possible for the big changes to happen just quite yet.

Maybe you need to phase out a certain client, or offering, or service to make your ideal workweek a reality. Maybe you need to increase your income, or change your living situation, or invest in support. These things usually take time, planning, and a whole lot of guts to make happen. Don’t be afraid if it’s going to take 6, 12, or even 18 months to get from where you are now to where you want to be - that’s normal. You’ll be so grateful you stuck it out and committed to the bigger picture once you make it to the other side.

Make smart, bold, and intuitive decisions in your business - be okay with the daily grind taking a little time to become dreamy again if that’s the way it’s got to be. Trust that there are little things you can do right now to make it better.

Whatever you do, don’t give up and never refuse to believe that change is possible.

Now let’s jump into Part 2 where I’m going to walk you through how you can intuitively plan, prioritise, and make things happen  in your business every quarter, month, and week...
